Welcome

Montana Creek Campground is in the beautiful Susitna Valley, located two hours from Anchorage at Mile 96.5 of the Parks Highway. Montana Creek is an excellent fishing stream, full of grayling, rainbow trout, Dolly Varden, king, silver and pink (in even-numbered years) salmon.

The fishing is plentiful, but other recreational activities are located nearby, including flight seeing at Mt. McKinley, river boating, rafting and dog mushing. Other amenities can be found within three miles of the campgrounds.
